AgilOptics presents an innovative addition to its growing list of specialty AO product
line: The AgilEye™ Telescope. The telescope uses a zoom lens with an additional optical
element attached to an AgilEye™ to allow for a range of input beam sizes. The telescope
allows input beams of ~6mm to ~60mm to be converted to ~3mm to fit on the AgilEye™
charge-coupled device (CCD), and is designed for use with the AgilOptics Multi™
deformable mirrors ranging in size from 50mm down to 16mm. The telescope adds an
λ / 4 error in the wavefront. Using the zoom lens’ tripod mount, the minimum height that
the AgilEye™ Telescope can be mounted from the top of a table is ~33mm. The
dimensions of the AgilEye Telescope are as follows:
